London is one of the great cities of the world. Add to that the fact that it is also home to movie productions, arenas and various TV stations, then there’s always a healthy chance some celebs are milling about.

Kensington is a popular borough for the in-crowd because it’s fashionable, central and packed to the gills with bars and restaurants.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the most popular spots for celebrities in and around Kensington.

Paradise

The full name of this west-London restaurant is ‘Paradise by Way of Kensal Green’, but that’s a bit long-winded for everyday use, so Paradise will do just fine when looking for this fashionable celebrity hangout.

Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Jude Law and Cara Delvigne have all been spotted in this plush and moodily-decorated eatery. They do a great range of cocktails and the food is as good as you’d expect. Also keep an eye out for Radio One breakfast host, Nick Grimshaw and Daisy Lowe as they have also been seen lurking on the premises.

Le Gothique

Just down the road in Wandsworth, Le Gothique is an amazing location just for how it looks. It’s a beautiful castle/grand manor hybrid and serves up great food and drinks. There’s a nice outside space for summer al-fresco dining and it feels more like a country retreat than a venue in the heart of London. It’s a great place to try and see some celebs if you’re staying in any of our London hotels near Paddington.

More importantly, a number of celebrities are regular visitors to Le Gothique. Helen Mirren has been seen numerous times enjoying the ambience, as has Mark Owen of Take That. Come for the atmosphere and see who you can spot.

Zuma

Zuma regularly plays host to celebrities looking to enjoy the modern, chic vibe the restaurant offers.

Zuma offers ‘Izakaya’ dining, which is the Japanese form of informal drinking and eating. It’s very trendy right now, so it’s not surprising celebrities like Kate Moss and Leigh-Ann Pollock of Little Mix have been seen there recently. The great food and atmosphere on offer is also apparently of appeal to footballers, as Chelsea man, Cesc Fabregas and Arsenal legend, Dennis Bergkamp were spotted dining together at Zuma.

The Wolseley

The Wolseley is a great place to go if you like great food, amazing surroundings and the chance to spot a clutch of celebrities.

The interior is heavily art-deco influenced, about twenty-minutes from the hotel and has played host to celebrities like Tom Hardy, Chris Martin, Katy Perry and Kate Moss, who seems to find her way to all the best spots.
